Side Door Café/Eden Hall

I come to Lincoln City for work and was shocked (should've know better in a small town) that everything closes at 8pm sharp on weekdays! Luckily we found this gem 8 miles out of LC. Swanky compared to the rest of LC, however reasonable prices! The service was super inviting with us arriving at 8:30, knowing they closed at 9pm. Appreciated that so much since we had been driving around for 45 minutes looking for someplace to eat that wasn't closed. Great wine and beer selection and the food was quite upscale! I certainly recommend this spot if you're looking for finer dining in LC!

What a charming cafe! Full of atmosphere and smiling faces from the wait staff, we felt so welcomed when we arrived. Good service seems hard to find these days, The Side Door staff seem to know what they are doing! If you like pan fried oysters this is the place to try! The thai chile aoli is to die for! We will be back again and again. Some of the staff are family an I have to say...they almost make you feel like family. We watched as the obvious regulars came in and it was just a "feel good" experience!

We visit friends in Depoe Bay often and we try to go to the Side Door Cafe every time. Wonderful food pleasingly the tongue as well as the eye. Much thought went into the menu as well as the specials. Something for everyone. Maybe not so much the kids. One word sums it up... "Yum". This is not a fast food place (Although they do have a mouth watering burger with the best dill potato salad) It cost a bit more but well worth it. Atmosphere is very open and subtle chic. Enjoy.
